Status of Quick Log
Quick Log will remain active until COB Monday, 7/8/2019.
Since early April when the DMV announced the deactivation of Quick Log, dealers have used Quick Log to account for over 100,000 secure paper MV-50s. Clearly, most dealers have been responsive to the pending deactivation of Quick Log.
After 7/8/2019, dealers will be required to maintain their records in accordance with VERIFI procedures. Dealers who fail to meet VERIFI requirements risk administrative action and potential sanctions.
DMV is aware that some dealers have used Quick Log as a work around for processing “unique” transactions. Acknowledging this need, DMV created the “Exceptions Log”. The Exceptions Log will be available on a single transaction basis and only activated after Help Desk intervention. The Exceptions Log will be available on 7/8/19.
Activation of the Exceptions Log will allow you to process a transaction that stalls due to system limitations.
