The DMV has restored their systems and VERIFI is working as expected as of 2:20pm on 7/19/2024.
Please log out/in and continue the VERIFI function you were trying to perform when you received the error.
- If you had any saved drafts, please delete them and start them over from the beginning.
- If you issued any secure paper MV-50s during this outage for any urgent sale deals, you must log them in VERIFI. You can use "Correction/Retain Original Sale Date" as the reason for issuing the secure paper MV-50. Please note, that you can use this reason only for the secure paper MV-50s issued during the outage period when DMV had temporarily allowed the issuance of secure paper MV-50s.

Due to the global outage with CrowdStrike, DMV is experiencing a system outage on 7/199/2024 starting from 1:40am Eastern. VERIFI is not impacted by this outage, but dealers will run into issues when trying to add/save vehicles, submit/save transfers because VERIFI live-checks against DMV systems. We’re working with the DMV to post announcements to keep dealers updated.
In the meantime, DMV has temporarily approved the issuance of secure paper MV-50 for any urgent sale deals. Please note, that once the services are restored, dealers must log all secure paper MV-50s issued during this timeframe in VERIFI.
