We are a PSP Dealer, how can I get a TCR (Temp) in VERIFI?

On January 1st, 2024, a software change in VERIFI will be made to better monitor the issuance of temporary registrations (TCRs) by our Partner Dealers. Partner Dealers will still have the ability to issue temporary registrations in the rare instances that their registration processing system is down, or their title clerk is unavailable. Please see below for the new process steps for Partner Dealers when issuing a temporary registration.

1. To transfer (sell/trade) a vehicle, as always, the vehicle must be in your book of registry under active vehicles inventory.

2. To start a new transfer, you can right click on the vehicle in your active vehicles inventory and then selecting transfer vehicle on the pop up. You can also start a new transfer by going to the vehicles detail page and then click on transfer vehicle.

3. Once you have selected a vehicle to transfer, you will be brought to the new transfer screen, where you can enter all the required details for the transfer

4. If you would like to generate a TCR, you should select “Obtain a New Plate DMV Partner”, select the plate registration class, and enter the plate number

5. Select if you would like to generate a TCR for this transaction or not

6. If you are generating a TCR, select the reason for generating it
